KAVANAGH CHRISTMAS TREES CONTINUE TO CULTIVATE A FESTIVE TRADITION WITH ALDI

As the festive season approaches, Kavanagh Christmas Trees, a third-generation family business that has been supplying Irish families with beloved traditional trees for over 70 years, is proud to celebrate its enduring partnership with ALDI. Together, they continue to cultivate award-winning Christmas trees, building traditions in homes across Ireland.

Kavanagh Christmas Trees, a family-owned business nestled in the Wicklow Mountains, traces its roots back to 1952, when they first embarked on a journey to produce high-quality Christmas trees.

Kavanagh Christmas Trees are not only unwaveringly committed to delivering the finest Christmas trees but are also dedicated to sustainability and quality. The business is resolute in its mission to supply ALDI, and families across Ireland, with trees that are cultivated from seeds using highly sustainable practices, resulting in the production of high-quality Christmas trees. 6ft Irish Grown Christmas trees and non-shed Nordmann Fir will be available in store from Thursday, 23rd November.

Christy Kavanagh, Owner of Kavanagh Christmas Trees, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating: “We are proud to continue our partnership with ALDI, committing to cultivate and supply beautiful, robust trees for ALDI customers to enjoy during the holiday season. Our Christmas trees are grown to the highest standard. When you buy a real Christmas tree, carefully grown locally, there is that extra-special
knowledge that you are supporting nature and the environment.”

In 2021, Christy Kavanagh achieved a remarkable feat by winning the best Noble, Nordmann Fir, and Korean Fir categories at the annual National Christmas Tree Growers’ competition, becoming the first grower to secure the top position in all three categories. Kavanaghs are highly committed to its sustainable practices, using ecological methods to grow their trees. In addition to supplying the community with greener trees, they are also a highly regarded tree farm recognised by Bord Bia.
