SMASHING PUMPKINS! CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN WITH ALDI’S GREAT VALUE IRISH GROWN PUMPKINS 

ALDI supplies Irish pumpkins at wickedly low prices this Halloween! 

Nothing says Halloween quite like a pumpkin. This year, ALDI is proud to confirm that it will stock a range of Irish grown Halloween pumpkins across its 160 stores nationwide.

Whether you’re preparing for trick-or-treaters or simply looking to add a dash of frightful fun to your home, ALDI has a wide array of pumpkins to help you celebrate Halloween your way.  With prices starting from just €0.99, ALDI customers can be certain they’re availing of bone-chilling bargains this Halloween!

This year’s range of pumpkins come in all shapes and sizes, including Medium Pumpkin €1.99 and Large Pumpkin €2.99. The offering also sees the return of the novelty White Ghost Pumpkin €3.49, a pale variety of pumpkin which has proved scarily popular with customers in recent years and is a petrifying addition to any Halloween display. Or why not pick up ajumbo-sized Monster Pumpkin for just €3.99 – now that’s value!

As part of ALDI’s everyday commitment to offering customers the best locally sourced produce, it has teamed up with three Irish producers to supply this year’s pumpkins. That means all pumpkins available for purchase in ALDI will be grown and harvested in Ireland. 

Pumpkins will be supplied directly by:

• Dublin-based donnelly fresh produce This marks the sixth year that ALDI has teamed up with donnelly fresh produce to sell their Bord Bia 100% Irish produced pumpkins. Based in Killeek, Co. Dublin, donnelly fresh produce has enjoyed a fruitful partnership with ALDI since 2007, supplying a range of Irish-grown fruit and vegetables throughout the year to the retailer. This year, once again donnelly’s will be donating a selection of pumpkins to ALDI’s charity partner, Barnardos.
• Iverk Produce: Based in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, it is one of the largest suppliers of fresh fruit and vegetables in Ireland and has been working with ALDI for nearly 25 years. Last year, it signed a five-year deal to supply ALDI with Irish-grown potatoes. 
• Gilfresh Produce: Founded in 1965, this family-run company is based in Loughgall, Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland and is one the leading vegetable producers on the island of Ireland, specialising in growing and sourcing fresh quality vegetables, and have been supplying ALDI for 2 years.

Proof that when it comes to pumpkins, no other supermarket is a patch on ALDI!
