FANCY BEING A FOOD TESTER FOR THE DAY? ALDI WANTS YOU!

ALDI launch a nationwide search for Grow with ALDI consumer judges to choose what hits shelves.

Consider yourself a foodie fanatic? Want to have your say on what exciting new Irish products get stocked on ALDI shelves? If so, ALDI has the job for you!

As part of this year’s Grow with ALDI programme, ALDI is inviting customers to apply to be a judge and food tester extraordinaire for a day.  The best part is ALDI will be picking a winner from every county in Ireland to join the consumer panel.

Each winner will be welcomed to ALDI’s Head Office in Co. Kildare on 8th February 2024 for the judging day. Here you will join a team of ALDI buyers to have their say on which Irish products should be stocked in ALDI stores nationwide as part of this year’s Grow with ALDI programme.

So, what is the Grow with ALDI programme? It’s a supplier development programme like no other, helping the most exciting and innovative small to medium sized businesses build their brand and take the next step on their entrepreneurial journey. Undertaken in partnership with Bord Bia, it champions Irish and gives ALDI customers the opportunity to support native small businesses at great value price points. To date, ALDI has invested more than €10 million into Grow with ALDI illustrating its commitment to unearthing and developing new Irish products. This year ALDI are taking the scheme up a notch by inviting Irish shoppers to have their voice heard in this process.

Think you have what it takes to represent your county on the judging panel? To be in with a chance of taking part, simply email growjudge@aldi.ie with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Tell us about your love of food
  • Tell us what makes you a good candidate for the job
  • Your address and your ability to travel to Kildare on 8th February 2024

Closing date for entries is 26th January. The winner will be notified by 2nd February. Make sure you arrive with an empty stomach!
