36 wines will launch in 161 ALDI stores nationwide from March 20th 

With brighter evenings around the corner, ALDI is thrilled to unveil its Spring/Summer 2024 wine range. This year’s curated collection includes an extensive range of reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling wine. Customers can get reacquainted with old favourites as well as exploring sixteen delectable new additions to ALDI’s award-winning Specially Selected range.

Whether you’re hosting friends, marking a special occasion or simply enjoying an evening tipple, this year’s Spring/Summer collection is as diverse as ever with 13 Reds, 13 Whites, and 5 Rosés from across the globe, as well as a number of sparkling wines to choose from.

Explore wines from old world wine regions like France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain or try fresh new varieties from the likes of Australia, Argentina, Greece, and Chile, all at amazing value prices. Let’s dive into some of the standouts from this year’s collection…

Red wine

Partial to an Italian red? Pick up a bottle of Unearthed Castellore Malvasia Nera €7.99, new to ALDI shelves. With pronounced aromas of red fruit, this one is perfect with slow cooked meat or served alongside a cheese board. Hosting a summer BBQ? Mimo Moutinho Dão €8.99 is a Portuguese red that pairs well with any summer BBQ feast, including ALDI’s award-winning 100% Irish Bord Bia Quality Assured meats. Transport yourself to the continent with Specially Selected Bourgogne Gamay €12.99 for a taste of France.

White wine

There is nothing like a crisp, zingy white on a summer’s evening. Soak it all up with a delectable glass of Specially Selected Castellore Pinot Grigio €9.99 or opt for something new and diverse to surprise and delight your BBQ guests like the Greek Athlon Assyrtiko €9.99. This fruity number is the perfect pairing for al fresco dining. Take a trip down under and explore the best of Australian wines with the Specially Selected Kooliburra Chardonnay €9.99 and the Specially Selected Kooliburra Sauvignon Blanc €9.99.

Rosé

Summer is all about rosé so don’t forget to add a drop of blush to your tablescapes this season. Sip and savour the Argentinian Malbec Rosé €7.99. Enjoy la vie en rose, with French produced Specially Selected La Bonne Vie Rosé €9.49.Enjoy a glass of Unearthed Chiaretto Di Bordolino Rosé €9.99. New to ALDI this season, this Italian rosé is light, fresh, and perfect for pasta dishes and will not disappoint.

Sparkling 

Whether you’re celebrating or just fancy a bit of fizz, you will find a stunning selection of sparkling wine in store this season to help elevate any occasion. Impress guests by popping open a bottle of Specially Selected Prosecco Treviso DOC €12.99 or Specially Selected Fleurs D’Eau Rosé Sparkling Wine €13.99 – the perfect summer aperitif!
