ALDI’S AWARD-WINNING PARENTING PODCAST MAMIA & ME RETURNS FOR NEW SEASON WITH BRAND NEW HOST!

• Journalist, broadcaster and author Jen Hogan announced as new host of Mamia & Me
• Brand new season of award-winning parenting podcast to kick off in September 

Award-winning journalist, broadcaster, author, and Mum of seven Jen Hogan has been unveiled as the new host of ALDI’s hit parenting podcast Mamia & Me as well as the new ALDI Mamia Ambassador!

Mamia & Me returns for Season 3 this autumn with Jen Hogan succeeding Amy Huberman in the presenter’s chair. Over the course of twelve episodes, Jen will speak with well-known faces and experts to bring listeners a regular insight of real, unfiltered conversations about all things parenting. Expect moving, relatable and sometimes laugh-out-loud stories from the trenches of parenthood – essential listening, no matter where you are on your parenting journey! 

Jen Hogan is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and columnist with The Irish Times and a proud Mammy to seven children. She is the brains behind the hugely popular Parenting In My Shoes series, published in The Irish Times, which has seen her interview politicians, actors, sports stars, and other public figures about their parenting experiences. A trusted parenting expert, working across television and radio, Jen lends her voice to discussions on everyday issues affecting Irish parents and families. Not to mention she is the author of The Real Mum’s Guide to Surviving Parenthood and has cultivated a strong, loyal following on social media.

Mamia & Me is a podcast created by ALDI for parents. First launched in 2021, it has racked up over 260,000 downloads and become Ireland’s Number 1 Parenting and Kids and Family podcast on Apple and Spotify.  The podcast explores the good, the bad and the funny of the wild, unpredictable adventure that is parenthood through enlightening and light-hearted conversations with well-known faces. Mamia & Me has also won Bronze in the Best Branded Content Podcast category at the Irish Podcast Awards 2022.

To help kick off the new season, Jen Hogan will record an episode of Mamia & Me live from Electric Picnic as ALDI celebrates its role as the Official Supermarket of Electric Picnic, Ireland’s most popular music and arts festival. The recording will take place at 2.30pm at the “Ah, Hear!” Podcast stage on Friday, 1^st September, Stradbally Co Laois.  Guests will be announced in due course so keep an eye on ALDI’s socials for more information!
