ALDI AIMS TO SELL OVER 250,000 PUMPKINS THIS HALLOWEEN AS IT RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH DONNELLY FRUIT & VEG

With leaves falling from the trees, the children back to school and Halloween just around the corner, Aldi customers will be delighted to hear of the return of Aldi’s range of pumpkins. This year 250,000 pumpkins supplied by Dublin-natives Donnelly Fruit & Veg will be sold at 148 Aldi stores across the Halloween season. Donnelly’s will work with many local farmers across the country this year to ensure 100,000 of these pumpkins are home grown here in Ireland.

Dublin-based producer Donnelly Fruit & Veg, one of Ireland’s leading suppliers of fresh fruit and vegetables, have worked with Aldi since 2007, supplying Irish strawberries, Irish tomatoes and several other Irish fruit and vegetable lines to Aldi stores all around the country.

Having started growing this year’s crop of Irish Pumpkins in May, and with harvesting already underway, Aldi’s range of small, medium, large and monster-sized pumpkins from Donnelly Fruit & Veg will be available from just 99c – meaning friends and families all around the country can get festive and creative as the evenings draw in.
