ALDI CALLAN STORE REOPENS AFTER €2 MILLION REVAMP

Refurbished store is 33% bigger than before

ALDI’s Callan store reopened this month, just in time for Christmas, after undergoing a €2 million upgrade and expansion.

The refurbished store now offers customers a large shopping space, with the retail floor expanded by 33% from 990 square metres to 1,315 square metres. The redesign follows ALDI’s award-wining ‘Project Fresh’ design, providing shoppers with an improved shopping experience.

The store has been closed for over 3 weeks to facilitate the upgrade works.

This development is part of ALDI’s nationwide expansion which aims to contribute to the local community by creating new permanent job opportunities, and enhanced customer shopping experiences.

Originally ALDI’s Callan store opened in 2013 as the 100^th store in the country. Since then, it has become an essential part of the town’s retail landscape. The store expansion includes the addition of four new permanent jobs, 20 extra car parking spaces and the incorporation of solar panels.
