PICK UP A FRESH BOUQUET OF FLOWERS IN SUPPORT OF BARNARDOS FROM YOUR LOCAL ALDI

Barnardos bouquet will be available to purchase in Aldi stores nationwide from 9th September in aid of Barnardos’ National Collection Day on 10th September.

As part of their partnership with Barnardos ongoing since 2020, Aldi has announced a Specialbuys bouquet of flowers in support of the charity’s National Collection Day. The bouquet will be on sale from the 9th of September and will retail at €4.99, with €1 from each sale going to the charity.

Barnardos is Irelands leading children’s charity whose mission is to work with Irish families and communities to transform the lives of vulnerable children who are affected by adverse childhood experiences.

Survey results from a recent study conducted by Barnardos revealed that over 50% of parents felt concerned about the cost of returning to school, and one third of all parents said that meeting costs will be made more difficult this year because of Covid.

Barnardos and Aldi are proud to be working together in communities across Ireland to build better futures for vulnerable children and families through a variety of initiatives. In addition to the forthcoming bouquet, Aldi has supported Barnardos through various activities like the current colouring competition for children aged 4-16, which is now live on Barnardos.ie/aldi, allowing those who enter to be in with a chance to win one of three €1000 arts bursaries for their school or crèche.

You can also visit Barnardos.ie/aldi to donate now! A €2 donation could provide a nutritious breakfast for a vulnerable child in one of Barnardos Early Years Centres, so get donating!
