CHRISTMAS CRACKERS! GROW WITH ALDI FESTIVE SUPPLIERS ARE ANNOUNCED

Evan Quaid of Quaid’s Candles is also Aldi’s youngest ever supplier!

Aldi has announced today the products that will make it onto shelves this Christmas as part of the first ever year that Grow with Aldi has gone festive! Grow with Aldi Festive was launched back in August, and Aldi put the call out to small and medium suppliers across Ireland, to get in touch with them if they’d like to see their products on the shelves over the Christmas period. All products will be in 144 Aldi stores nationwide from Sunday, 15^th November while stocks last.

ALDI ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF €200,000 PRIMARY SCHOOL STICKER COMPETITION

• 1,093 entries received from primary schools across the country
• Tara Hill National School, Gorey, Co. Wexford and Scoil Naomh Bríd, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow announced as the winners of €50,000 each to help upgrade their school’s sports facilities
• 10 runner up primary schools have won €10,000 each to be spent on sports equipment or facilities
• All schools that sent back a completed poster will also receive an Aldi Play Rugby Kit Bag  
• To date, Aldi has awarded over €500,000 to participating schools as part of #AldiPlayRugby

IRELAND’S JAMES RYAN SIGNS FOR THE ALDI PLAY RUGBY TEAM

Aldi has announced today the signing of Ireland rugby international James Ryan as their newest ambassador for the Aldi Play Rugby Programme. James joins rugby legend Paul O’Connell on the team, with Paul having worked with Aldi since Aldi’s partnership of the programme commenced in 2016.

Today, 3rd November, Aldi announced its continued commitment to parents in Ireland by making available newborn nappies from its award winning Mamia range to maternity hospitals across the country, with The Rotunda Hospital being the first to avail of this offer. The aim is to roll out the initiative to all maternity hospitals in the country in 2021.
