Aldi launches new Click & Collect Service in Laois

85,000 Laois shoppers can now benefit from Aldi’s great prices online as its new Click and Collect service is available from its Portlaoise store for the first time from today.

The customer-friendly convenient service involves Laois shoppers choosing timeslots to arrive at dedicated Click and Collect points in store car parks, ordering groceries from Aldi’s full range of products online, then driving to Aldi’s Portlaoise store where they can have their shopping brought to their car by store colleagues contact-free, in line with current social distancing rules.

The great news for Laois shoppers comes as Aldi’s Click and Collect service expands to more stores around Ireland. Launching in February 2021, the service is now available in counties Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kildare, Limerick, Meath and Wicklow, offering customers greater flexibility and access to Aldi’s multi-award-winning range of quality products.

Niall O’Connor, Group Managing Director, Aldi Ireland, said: “Our new Click and Collect service has been growing from strength to strength since launching in February this year and, following very positive customer feedback, we’re now rolling it out to our Portlaoise store. ”

“We are continuously looking at new ways we can improve customer experience with Aldi, and we’re delighted to offer even more ways for our customers to access our award winning and unbeatable value groceries, especially at this time with all of us continuing to live through the impact of the pandemic.”
